Shana will serve as the General Manager and Co-Owner at Phoenix Grappling Academy and plans on beginning her white belt journey. She is a former attorney turned Mom extraordinaire.  Although not athletically inclined, she proved her talents in the classroom as valedictorian of Mount Carmel Academy in 1999, University Medalist at LSU in 2003, and Order of the Coif at LSU law school in 2006.  After finishing her academic career, she practiced in the corporate transactional section of Adams and Reese for 4 years before moving in-house to help manage her family’s group of businesses.  She worked as a family office administrator, being the point person for various tasks such as legal, insurance, taxes, and investments for a decade before transitioning to home life.  She is the mother of two young children and looks forward to assisting in the creation and management of Phoenix Grappling Academy alongside her husband, Chuck.
